Sogogawa River Bridge is a 189-meter-long railway bridge on the JR Sanin Main Line completed in 1932. It is a viaduct of excellent design that draws a smooth curve at the beachfront of the Sea of Japan. The silhouette of the train running with the sun setting in the sea is of moving beauty as if it were a skillfully painted landscape painting . Because scenery from the sea and scenery from the bridge are also beautiful, they are popular shooting locations among railway enthusiasts .
