Tokiwa Lake was constructed by Mukunashi Gonzaemon Toshihira as an irrigation pond in 1968. In 2016, the lake was registered as a “Heritage Irrigation Structure.” Tokiwa Park, where people can enjoy the changing seasons and see many carps and water birds, is loved by citizens for being an oasis of relaxation and it is registered as a national treasure.
